  • What is Melolelo's approach to workshops?
    Melolelo’s workshops have been carefully designed to help you explore and expand your creative side. During the workshops you are provided with all the materials and empowering vibes to help you channel Your Inner Artist. The only instruction is to trust yourself and the process. No experience required!
  • What materials are used?
    During Melolelo's Creative Workshops you get to work with Unique & Fragile materials such as handmade recycled paper, hand-pressed flowers and Gold Leaf. The flowers may differ per session to offer a variety of kinds, colors, and sizes.
  • Who can join the workshops?
    Melolelo Studio is open to all genders and ethnicities, ages 16 and above. Our Creative workshops are great for solo-dates or group activities with friends & loved ones.
  • How does the "Make Your Own Affirmation Set" workshop work?
    After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with details, including an overview of all the affirmation cards you can choose from. Select 7 cards that you’d like to work with during your session. Love the design but want a different quote or the text in Dutch? We’ve got You! Just send us an email to info@melolelo.com, 24 hours before your session with your selection, and let us know which quotes you’d like for each card. Example: Card #12: Self Care Club, Card #13: I’m a Badass B*tch, etc.). Please note: It is only possible to customize the quotes on the cards but not the designs. During the workshop, you start with a simple practice of applying gold leaf, and than continue customising the cards with gold leaf and hand-pressed flowers. You'll create 7 personalised affirmation cards.
  • How does the "Make Your Own Muse" workshop work?
    You start with a simple practice of applying gold leaf, then choose your canvas (an illustration by Melolelo). You can customize it with gold leaf and hand-pressed flowers. This 2-hour workshop results in a unique personal muse.
  • How does the "Creative Brunch" workshop work?
    Similar to the "Make Your Own Muse" workshop, but with an included brunch. Over 3 hours, you work with gold leaf, hand-pressed flowers, and handmade cotton paper while enjoying a charcuterie board and refreshments. It's a blend of creativity, relaxation, and indulgence.
  • Are there options for dietary restrictions during the Creative Brunch?
    Yes, please state any allergies and dietary preferences (VEGAN, VEGETARIAN, NON-VEGAN) during checkout, and we will accommodate them.
  • Where is Melolelo Studio located?
    Melolelo Studio is located at Kleiweg 43c, 2801GC, Gouda. It’s a 7-minute walk from Gouda Central Station with various parking options nearby.
  • Can workshops be held at different locations or for larger groups?

  • Cancellation Policy
    To receive a full refund, workshops and masterclasses must be canceled 30 days before the event. Rescheduling is also allowed up to 72 hours before the event.

  • How to order?
    To place an order, fill in all the options and your wishes on our website and complete the checkout process. Once your order is placed, email your photos to info@melolelo.com
  • What kind of photos should I send?
    Choose high-quality photos where everyone is visible. If you don’t have one perfect photo, send several photos, and we’ll review them together to find the best ones for your illustration.
  • What is the Creative Session?
    The Creative Session is a brief 30-minute meeting where we go over your photos and wishes. We discuss the composition and color palette to ensure your custom illustration matches your vision. This session helps us gather all the necessary details before starting your illustration.
  • What happens after I send my photos?
    Once we've received your images, you will be asked to schedule a 30-minute Creative Session where we will discuss your photos, wishes, composition, and color palette. This session ensures we understand your vision for the illustration.
  • How many revisions rounds do I have?
    You have the right to two revision rounds to ensure the personal illustration meets your expectations and wishes. We want you to be completely satisfied with the final result.
  • What options are the options for the final illustration format?
    You can choose to receive the illustration; ✿ Digitally; you will receive a JPG/PNG/PDF file. Which you can later use as you please for examples for invitations & geboortekaartjes. ✿ Printed; on handmade recycled cotton paper in either A4 or A3 size. Additionally, you can customise the print with 24k gold leaf.
  • Do you illustrate bigger groups?
    For groups of more than 8 people, please fill in the enquiry form on our website or email us directly at info@melolelo.com. We will assist you with the process and provide a customised solution.
  • How long does it take to finalize a Personal illustration?
    A personal illustration can take from 2 to 4 weeks to be finalized, depending on the complexity and revision rounds.
  • Ready. Set. Go!
    Once you've reached out, whether it's through the enquiry form or email. We'll start by scheduling a discovery call. This call is great as it allows us to take the time to understand your specific needs and preferences, as well as provide insights into my design process and how we can bring your ideas to life. Following the discovery call, you'll be provided with a proposal outlining the timeline, budget and deliverables. Once you've decided to move forward, we can then kick off the onboarding process.
  • Onboarding
    Once the agreement has been signed and the deposit has been paid, you'll receive a questionnaire. Where you will provide as much information as possible. The answers to there questions are important for us as it will help us bring your project to life.
  • Design process
    Based on the provided info. We'll continue doing our research and putting together a Creative Direction and present you with a proposal and first concepts. Revisions are included with every project to ensure you are truly happy with the final product. Once you're happy with the outcome, we'll put together the final files and package all your deliverables.
  • Offboarding
    Once the final payment has been made, it's Party Time! (That's it! It's that simple!) Depending on the service you've chosen, you’ll receive all of the deliverables promised shared in a Google Drive or WeTransfer.
  • Payment Methods
    Melolelo accepts payments from iDEAL, Klarna, Debit, Creditcard, Paypal and Melolelo Giftcards.
  • How to purchase a Giftcard?
    A Melolelo Giftcard can easily be purchased on the Giftcard page. Select the desired amount, enter the recipient's details, set when the the card should be delivered, and pay. After completing checkout, you'll receive an email confirming your purchase. The Giftcard recipient then gets an email with the subject line "You just got a Giftcard from YOUR NAME". Their unique Giftcard code appears in the email. All Melolelo Giftcards expire after 12 months & are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • How to redeem a Giftcard?
    Got a giftcard? You can redeem it easily; Once you're ready for checkout, you can select the "Redeem a Giftcard option" and enter your unique Giftcard code. If the price of the sale is worth more than the value of the card, you can pay for the remaining cost using our regular payment methods. All our Giftcards have an expiration date of 12 months & are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • How to redeem a promo / voucher code?
    You can easily redeem a promo/voucher code at your Cart page. Just Click on "Add promo/voucher code and enter your code. Keep in mind that you can only use one promo/voucher code at once.
  • I have problems with the payment, what can I do?

  • Has my order been shipped yet?
    We usually ship all orders in 3-5 business days, depending of your location. You will automatically receive a shipping notification when your order has been shipped. If you didn't receive a shipping notification after 7 business days? Please send us an email at info@melolelo.com
  • I gave a wrong (shipping) address to my order, what can I do?
    Made a mistake during checkout? It's okay, it happens to the best of us. Just send us an email at info@melolelo.com and we will assist you further.
  • I haven’t received any order confirmation / shipping notification?
    If you haven’t received any emails from us, maybe you have most likely mistyped your email address when placing the order. An other option the email we have sent has been caught in the spam-folder by your email provider. Is this not the problem, and you still can’t find your order confirmation/shipping notification, please send an email to us at info@melolelo.com and we will check that we have actually received your order.
  • How to track my package?
    When your order is packed and shipped, you will receive a separate email with the tracking information. In case you have any questions regarding your tracking information, please contact us by email at info@melolelo.com
  • Delayed Order
    If your order is delayed you can see the information in the tracking information by mail. If you not sure if everything is right with the shipment, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
  • My order has arrived damaged, what to do?
    In case your order has arrived damaged we will be needing some extra information in order to solve this unfortunate situation together with you. Please email us the following; ✿ Order number ✿ 1 image of the damaged packaging, with the shipping label visible. ✿ 1 image of the inside of the damaged package ✿ 2 detailed images of the damaged product. You can email us on info@melolelo.com within 14 days of receipt. We will review the information provided by you. Based on what you've provided we will see if a new shipment is required.
  • Is it possible to return an item?
    If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a hassle-free return policy. You can return any item within 14 days of receiving it, provided it is in its original condition and packaging. Please note: Due to the nature of our products we are unable to accept returns unless the products are unopened and fully sealed. To initiate a return, simply contact us at: info@melolelo.com
  • How do I return an item?
    To initiate a return, simply contact us at: info@melolelo.com and follow the return information and instructions you were provided with when your order was shipped. Please note that you will be charged for the full costs of the return shipment. Once we receive the returned items, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days.
